College of San Mateo took a quick 38-0 lead in the first 20 minutes and never looked back en route to a 55-13 Bay 6 League win at Contra Costa College Saturday, setting up next Saturday’s (Oct. 29) 1p.m. showdown with also 2-0 City College of San Francisco at College Heights Stadium.

College of San Mateo took a quick 38-0 lead in the first 20 minutes and never looked back en route to a 55-13 Bay 6 League win at Contra Costa College Saturday, setting up next Saturday's (Oct. 29) 1p.m. showdown with also 2-0 City College of San Francisco at College Heights Stadium.
Rahsaan Fontenette led CSM's 384-yard rushing attack with 137 yards on 12 carries (11.4 average), including a 50-yard TD that gave the Bulldogs a 38-0 lead just 4:14 into the second quarter. Quarterback Ryan Brand completed seven of 14 passes for 114 yards and two scores and rushed for 90 yards and a TD. Jordan Hendy intercepted two Comets passes, returning one 37 yards for a TD. Ramiah Marshall was CSM's top receiver with four receptions for 44 yards and also threw a 53-yard TD pass to Line Latu.
CCSF knocked off No. 2 state-ranked Santa Rosa, 34-21, Saturday to leave only the No. 21 Bulldogs (4-3) and defending state champion No. 8 CCSF (5-2) atop the Bay 6 at 2-0.
CSM has scored 107 points in its first two league games and 147 points this month
