Conference champions decided In State Women's Volleyball
With the 2025 regular season coming to a close Friday, all 14 conferences across the state have had their championships decided for California Community College women's volleyball teams.
Among eight repeat champions, state #1 Feather River captured the Golden Valley Conference title, #2 San Diego Mesa won the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship, and #4 Orange Coast accomplished the Orange Empire crown.
The others with at least back-to-back titles are #8 Moorpark winning the hotly-contested Western State North Division championship, sharing first place with #7 Santa Barbara City, #9 Mt. San Antonio grabbing the South Coast Conference North Division title, #10 Fresno City capturing the first-ever Central Valley South Division championship, #11 Long Beach City scoring the South Coast South Division title, and unranked Solano placing first again for the Bay Valley Conference crown.
New champions are made up of #3 San Joaquin Delta returning to the winner's circle for the Big 8 crown, Central Valley North Division and #5 Taft winning that new conference's first title, #6 Santa Monica capturing the Western State South Division championship, #13 San Mateo accomplishing the Coast Conference South Division crown, #14 Desert taking the Inland Empire Conference title, and #17 Monterey Peninsula attaining the Coast North championship.
The postseason seedings which are based on the RPI for the sport will be finalized for the 40 qualifiers (20 each region) on Tuesday, Nov. 18 with the Regional Round 1 matchups taking place on Saturday, Nov. 22.
A final regular season State Top 25 will be selected on Tuesday.
